Youth Ministry

Psalm 71:17a “O God, thou hast taught me from my youth:”  We know that our young people of today will be our leaders of tomorrow. We also know that how they lead will be determined by how they were taught.  Satan knows this as well, and there is a spiritual battle in our world today for the hearts of our teens.  At Hunt Valley Baptist Church, it is our desire to give our youth something real that will last them the rest of their lives.  We believe that a teen today can have a real walk with God that can work real miracles in their lives.  At HVBC, teens will find people that love them and are interested in their lives and in their walk with God.

Hi, I am Pastor Derek Renshaw.  My wife Christina and I would love to invite you to join us in our youth ministry. Our desire is to provide something real for the young people of our community.  Too much of what is offered to the youth of today is very superficial and brings peace or happiness that is temporary at best.  At Hunt Valley Baptist, we strive for something different.  Teens that join our youth group will find challenging Bible preaching, godly Christian fellowship, fun activities, and so much more. It is our desire to reach young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and aid them in their walk with God.  No matter where you are in your life, you can find help and a place for you in the Hunt Valley Baptist Youth Group.  We look forward to having you with us this Sunday!
