Hunt Valley Baptist Church Highlights

Grand Opening Sunday - April 26, 2009

Grand Opening SundayOne of the most remarkable days in HVBC history was Grand Opening Sunday. God blessed exceedingly and abundantly above that which we could have ever dreamed. On Grand Opening Sunday, there were 472 in attendance in the morning service, and over 500 in attendance for the day, including those who came only to the afternoon service. Visitors from eight states were present, with over 50 families visiting from the surrounding communities!

Heritage & Heroes Day - September 11, 2011

Heritage & Heroes DayWe set aside this day to remember the rich heritage with which the Lord has blessed our nation and to honor those who help us protect it. We also remembered the tragic events that changed the lives of many Americans ten years earlier. Governor Bob Ehrlich and Evangelist Dr. Larry Brown were among our honored guests.
For the day, we built a new Flag & Fellowship Patio and the Fort Meade Air Force Honor Guard was there to dedicate our new thirty foot flag pole. Over 300 joined us for the big day, including our local fire and police departments; and four trusted Christ as Saviour.

Vacation Bible School - Summer 2012

Vacation Bible SchoolAfter launching our bus ministry last year during VBS, we didn't know how this years VBS could be better. During the UNDERWATER ADVENTURE, we "Dared to go deep wth God," and saw several new children come to know Christ as their Savior. God continues to work among us and through us in our VBS ministry. We can't wait until next year to jump on the SONLIGHT EXPRESS!
